Happiness is great musical theatre! With charm, wit and heart, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brownexplores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. This revue of songs and vignettes, based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, is the ideal first show for those who would like to do a musical. Musical numbers include “My Blanket and Me,” “The Kite,” “The Baseball Game,” “Little Known Facts,” “Suppertime” and “Happiness.” Guaranteed to please audiences of all ages!
Auditions for this spring’s production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown will be held prior to the first class (official date and times are TBA). All students should be prepared with a 30-second monologue and a 30-second cut from any Broadway song. You may also be asked to sing a selection from the show and read from the script for callback purposes.
*This show will be entirely double cast.
Dates: Wednesdays 4:30-7:00pm
Tech Week and Performance: TBD
Grades: 9-12 (Based on enrollment numbers, we will be allowing 7th and 8th grade students to audition into this program)
Tuition: $425
Location: Stillwater Community Center, Room TBD
Tuition for all classes includes scripts, music, and materials. Parents may be asked to supply materials for costumes. Additional Saturday rehearsals (TBD) may be scheduled to prepare for upcoming theatrical performances when needed.
Payment plans are available as needed, with the entire amount being due by the conclusion of the program.
